Anyone aspiring to apply for and land a job abroad must comply with the various documentary requirements specific to their trade or profession in order to qualify. This being said, there are basic things that are required as enumerated below:
Basic Requirements:
1. Current Philippine Passport (valid for a least 2 years or more)
2. Current NBI Certificate (not older than 6 months)
3 Current Medical "Fit-to-Work" Certificate
4. School Transcript of Records (TORs)
5. Diploma / Trade Certificates
6. Employment/Job Certificates
Depending on the Position Applied for, additional documents may be required.
For Domestic Helpers:
1. NC2 Eligibility Certificate
2. OWWA Certificate
3. Employment Certificates
For Drivers:
1. Valid Driving License with appropriate restriction codes
For Professionals:
1. PRC ID or Certificate
2. Board Exam Rating Certificate
Additional Travel Document Requirements:
1. Pre-departure Orientation Seminar Certificate
2. POEA E-receipt or Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC)
3. Visa Stamp
4. Confirmed Air-ticket
It is important to note that School TORs, Diplomas, PRC ID/Certificate, Driving License of professionals need to be authenticated by the issuing authorities of school, PRC, LTO as the case may be, and futher authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for them to be acceptable to prospective principal employers.
